The model I often used was the following:<br /><br />Usefulness of information = Relevance x Validity / Work to get it<br /><br />Relevance = well you know<br />Validity = It's got to be true or else its not useful (the more relevant and the more "true" the better) <br />Work = well no one wants to do it- so less is more<br /><br />RSS feeds to me have high relevance- fair validity (Dependent on how out of date the article is) - but do require work to get the info<br /><br />Twitter on its own - Variable work / relevance / validity<br /><br />Twitter hash search - increases the Relevance - not necessarily the validity<br /><br />Twitter Lists - increases both relevance and validity - and lowering work because some one else is doing the curating.<br /><br />Just my 2 coppers...<br /><br />-DKAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03273661886798667732noreply@blogger.com
